Born of a yearning to provide Alpine ski valleys with decent beer where previously such a thing was scarce, Sapaudia is now cranking out quality ales from its brand spanking new facility situated right at the base of the World’s three largest ski areas.

Being centrally located allows Sapaudia fulfil their own distribution in-house, which in turn helps keep the end price of their beer at the tap reasonable.

It also means that their beer spends far less hours on the road than pretty much any bar stocked beverage previously found in a ski resort; a positive thing on several levels!

According to Tim Longstaff and Ash Smith, the men behind Sapaudia, their beers are designed and made to go hand in hand with the spirit of shared mountain adventure.

Their key points of focus during development and production are quality, innovation, drinkability and a strong sense of Savoie heritage.

Sapaudia Brewing Co.’s “SIGNAL” (Alpine Blonde Ale, 4.9% ABV) is now pouring from the taps of many bars across the French Alps, from Val d’Isère, to Meribel, to Chamonix.

Their core range will soon be completed with COSMIQUE (IPA) and DARENTASIA (Munich Helles lager).
