Lyon
Morzine
Morzine ski resort, known as part of the Portes du Soleil and very close to the Swiss border, is a buzzing ski resort.
It's a very popular resort, not only for its vast ski area, which includes Avoriaz & Les Gets but also is possibly one of the visited mountain bike resorts in Europe.
And given how close Morzine is to Geneva Airport, it makes it a very accessible ski resort for short stays. Mozine and Les Gets alone offer a respectable 69 ski slopes and over a 100kms of pisted terrain but if sliding down the side of a mountain is not your thing then don’t worry!
There are almost 100 shops & 50 restaurants to keep you busy. And let us not forget Avoriaz, accessible by a cable car from Morzine which is a very scenic pedestrianised resort. The main means of transport in Aroriaz is horse and sled, how cool is that!
