The transfer between Montchavin and
Geneva airport
Our route on the transfer from Geneva Airport to Montchavin takes us initially across the border into France where we head south on the A41 in the direction of Annecy. Joining the D909 we carry on south adjacent to the shore of Lake Annecy passing through the towns of Menthon-Saint-Bernard and Tallories before arriving in Doussard. From Doussard we take the D 1508 passing Faverges to Ugine. At Ugine we switch to the D1212 to Albertville from where we head south on the N90 to Moutiers passing through the towns of La Bathie and Cevins. Leaving Moutiers we continue on the N90 to Bellentre where we switch on to the D225 for the climb to our final destination.
The transfer from Geneva Airport to Montchavin will take approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 kms) although this estimate is made assuming that the weather and traffic conditions will not be problematical.

Montchavin is a delightful village at 1,250 metres with the bars, restaurants, shops and equipment suppliers needed for an enjoyable stay. Being much smaller than the larger better known resorts, Montchavin has a family friendly ambience and yet still has facilities such as a cinema and well-being facility with a pool, jacuzzi and sauna.
From Montchavin there is easy access to three large beginner zones and also on hand close by are ice skating, snow biking, quad biking and Husky trips.
