The transfer between Tignes and
Chambery airport
The journey on our transfer from Chambery Airport to Tignes takes us initially onto the A43 as we leave Chambery Airport. Heading south east we bypass Les Marches and stay on the A43 in the direction of Albertville passing Chateauneuf but just before arriving in Albertville we transfer on to the N90. As we head south on the N90 our route takes us through La Bathie and Cevins before arriving in Moutiers. From Moutiers staying on the N90 we head to Bourg Saint Maurice where we transfer on to the D902. Continuing south on the D902 we pass through Sainte Foy before transferring onto the D87A for the short distance to Tignes.
The journey time of your transfer from Chambery Airport to Tignes is anticipated to be 2 hours (144 kms). However, this is based on the assumption that we do not encounter traffic difficulties or poor weather.

Tignes with its huge 150km of pisted terrain, boasting over 40 ski lifts and offering its highest skiable piste sitting at 3656m is a sure favourite for all skiing and snowboarding abilities.
With its large selection of accommodation at a more moderate price range, Tignes is ideal for families and the younger generation, although Tignes is limited in its availability of luxury chalets.
Tignes linking up with Val d'Isere, a neighbouring resort, makes up the well known ski area Espace Killy, named after France's down hill skier Jean-Claude Killy. These 2 resorts combined make up a massive 300km of pistes, whilst also offering some of the best off piste terrain the world has to offer!
